Adam Dooley

Adam Dooley

President
Over the past two and a half decades, Adam has developed and executed communications programs for regional, national and North American organizations. As an expert at integrating public relations with advertising and marketing tactics, Adam’s strategies build strong brands and polished corporate images.

He launched Dooley Communications in 2007 after an award winning career as a reporter, editor and corporate communications executive. Under his leadership, Dooley Communications has grown to become the largest PR firm in Manitoba with clients including Ford of Canada, Princess Auto, Cando Rail Services, the Government of Manitoba and the City of Winnipeg.

He was formerly Vice-President of Marketing and Communications at Cambrian Credit Union, one of the largest financial institutions in the Canadian Prairies. Prior to that, he helped manage communications for Assante Corporation across Canada and the United States.

Adam holds an honours BA in History from the University of Saskatchewan and a Master’s Degree in Journalism from the University of Western Ontario.

Senior Communications Manager
Lisa Bernstein is a Senior Communications Manager at Dooley Communications. Her passion and experience in the public relations industry is evident by her enthusiasm, creativity and the thoughtful leadership she brings to her projects and clients.

Throughout her career she has focused on planning, managing and implementing strategic PR campaigns and social media strategies, building strong relationships with media and creating and executing successful events for clients. She has an extensive background working with a variety of clients from non-profit organizations to business and consumer products and services, including Ford Motor Company of Canada.

Lisa also has an in-depth understanding of the ever-evolving new media landscape, staying on top of industry trends and techniques. Her awareness allows for innovative approaches to optimizing local, regional and national visibility and generating relevant media attention for her clients. She has secured high-impact coverage for clients in top tier publications, such as Outdoor Canada, Chatelaine Magazine and The Huffington Post Canada. She also has a high level of experience with cultivating relationships with bloggers. Whether it’s organizing a large-scale event or pitching the newest trend, she works hard to ensure the client’s story is unique and newsworthy.

Lisa graduated from Red River College’s Creative Communications program and holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree from The University of Manitoba.

Delta Hirsch

Account Associate
Delta Hirsch is a communications specialist at Dooley Communications. A recent graduate of the Red River College (RRC) Creative Communications program, Delta brings an extensive background in branding, social media management and website building to the team. Before RRC, she earned her Bachelor of Arts advanced degree at the University of Manitoba with a major in Psychology.

In the past, Delta worked as a copywriting intern at Think Shift and a marketing intern at Bison Transport Inc. She also manages the social media accounts for Kevin’s Bistro and her parent’s company the Hirsch Home Team. She has sat on the Winnipeg Lost Dog Alert Board of Directors for the past two years and has served as its PR Director for the past eight months. Delta enjoys visual storytelling through videography and design, making Instagram her platform of choice.

Chris Davis

Account Associate

Chris Davis is a recent Public Relations graduate of Red River College’s Creative Communications program. Upon completing Creative Communications, he also earned his Bachelor of Arts through the University of Winnipeg’s Joint Communications Degree program.

Chris joins Dooley PR following an internship at Communications Services Manitoba where he worked on projects across a variety of government departments with a focus on media relations, marketing and social media. He has also interned at the National Collaborating Centre for Infectious Diseases and has since worked with them as a videographer and event planner. Chris enjoys the timeliness, reactivity and strategy behind media relations and looks forward to working with clients to develop creative and effective campaigns.

To say that Chris enjoys board games is an understatement. He loves games so much that he crowdfunded his own, FSHBWL. Chris swears that the strategy involved in board games is transferable to public relations (and all facets of life), but we’re going to leave that as a thesis for the time being.

Krista Lawson

Krista is the principal of Black Rook Design. She has more than 10 years of experience in creating solutions that are beautiful, functional and accurately represent the unique needs of our clients. Her focus is on strategy and results-driven design.

The Black Rook team has worked in the arts, health care, aboriginal, private and commercial sectors. By leading design projects for the Talking Stick Festival, Sunova Credit Union, United Way, Winnipeg Health Authority, Manito Ahbee Festival and The Circle, our clients have allowed us to bring new life to each campaign.

Brand management is her specialty. Black Rook creates corporate identities and campaigns for companies of all sizes. We have designed many logos and brands from scratch, but work just as well with established brands and visual identity guidelines.

Ryan Santschi

Full-Stack Developer
Ryan Santschi is the owner/operator of Interplay Design that specializes in high-performance websites powered by WordPress. A full-stack developer that is passionate about building digital solutions that are scalable and easy to use, Ryan spends his time, joyfully, going over every detail of how to increase your website’s effectiveness, accessibility, site speed, and security. Ryan is a friendly and experienced communicator who is committed to educating people on responsible site development.
As an organizer of the WordPress Winnipeg meetup, Ryan spends his time contributing to the project that powers 30% of the internet. There Ryan comfortably talks on topics ranging from “how-to’s” for beginners to “Optimizing Server-side Cache” for experts. In 2016 and 2015 Ryan organized the Winnipeg WordCamp, a WordPress conference, that has two tracks for both users and developers. Ryan loves the open-source world where he continually has the opportunity to both learn and teach.
