A recent graduate from the Joint Communications program at Red River College and the University of Winnipeg, Michelle Perron is a Communications
Coordinator at Dooley Communications. Over the past two years Michelle combined her passion for public relations, communications, and sports by
completing a number of internships with professional sports teams. Michelle worked for the Winnipeg Jets and its AHL affiliate Manitoba Moose, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, and most recently, the New York Islanders—during the 2016 Stanley Cup Playoffs.
An interested community contributor, Michelle created, planned, and executed Pitchin’ for Breast Cancer—a slo-pitch tournament and social media campaign, raising funds and awareness for breast cancer research. Michelle believes that solid writing skills, the right amount of design esthetics, and building relationships are integral to being a strong communicator.
